Jodan Oi-Zuki
1. Move right leg right to 45` while blocking
left vertical punch; followed by right hand reverse-punch, snap
back.
2. Step in left leg to full front-stance
while deflecting incoming punch with open left hand and countering
uppercut punch chest height with right fist, move off to the left in
back-stance pushing open-handed on attackers right shoulder.
3. Step back left leg to 45` of left and
block right arm rising-block, open the hand of the blocking arm and
strike right roundhouse kick chest height then left hand
reverse-punch chest height and snap-back.
4. Turning body to the right on the spot
simultaneously blocking with the left open hand, step further in to
full front-stance with the left leg and turn into opponent with
right palm hand strike to the solar plexus. Then retreat directly
behind the opponent by simultaneously swinging the right leg through
and pushing with left vertical punch between the shoulder blades.
Chudan Oi-Zuki
1. Swing around 45` to the left with the
right leg and perform left outside block, then right reverse-punch
chest height and snap back.
2. Step straight back to half stance with
the back leg bent while blocking with left palm-heel strike
downwards and moving right arm into lower block prepare position (on
the shoulder). Push forward with right leg into front-stance and
strike to temple with right back-fist. Do not snap back.
3. Push out with left leg at 90` to the left
and simultaneously counter with left chest height reverse-punch;
then snap back.
4. Strike incoming
chest height with right front snap-kick, move off to right into
front stance while blocking incoming punch with left hand lower
block to. Pull back and return with left head height straight punch
and snap-back.
Kizami-zuki
1. Step 45’ forward
and to the left with the left leg into a low front-stance and
perform right back-fist to opponents temple, cover the attacking arm
with the open right hand, then change the direction of the front
stance by turning on the spot delivering counter left reverse-punch.
2. Pull back with left hand open to block
the attack and simultaneously perform left foot sweep; then follow
through into left front-stance with right chest uppercut punch, move
off to the left pushing away with left vertical open hand.
Gyaku-zuki
1. Swing right leg
around to 45’ left into front-stance and perform left vertical punch
head height, pause..., then fast right reverse-punch chest height
and snap back.
2. Move left foot in
towards opponent and to the left simultaneously blocking right lower
block while countering with right roundhouse kick chest height. Step
forward to the rear of the opponent into right front-stance while
countering right knife hand to back of neck. Swivel around to face
opponents rear in defensive posture.
Mae-geri
1. Step off 45` with
the right leg into left front-stance and block left arm lower block;
then counter with right chest height reverse-punch.
2. Bring left leg
back and push it to the left into right front-stance at 45’. Perform
right lower block. Pull back right fist to hip and cover with left
vertical open hand; then extend right leg into front-stance and
counter with right straight punch chest height.
3. Step through
forward and 45’ to the left with right leg into front-stance and
perform right lower block. Turn through 180’ then cover with left
open hand; then counter with chest height reverse-punch, pull back.
4. Step in with the
left leg and perform X-block; quickly move off to the left and
perform left knife hand to throat.
Mawashi-geri
1. Step off with
right leg to the right and perform left inside block to head height
position with fingers of left hand all facing you. Counter with
right reverse-punch; then snap back.
2. Step forward with
right foot into opponent while performing left head height
reverse-punch; then move off to the right, delivering right hand
knife hand attack to the back of the neck (palm up).
Yoko-geri Kekome
1. As for Chest
height No1.
2. Step back with the left leg and land at
45` to the right into front-stance, perform X-block to the lower leg
(hands right on top of left). Pull back with the front (right) leg
and position hands in cross in front of chest then step into right
front-stance and perform right spear-hand changing to vertical head
height punch en route.
Ushiro-geri
1. Step back with
the left leg to 45` right and perform scooping block with left arm
(palm upwards). Recoil slightly and push forward into right
front-stance delivering straight punch head height with the right
hand.
2. Step in with the
left leg and blocking and holding the attacking leg with the right
open hand; keep the opponent from turning into you by pushing down
on their right shoulder. Bring the right leg up to the left and lift
and sweep to floor with left sole.
